These are custom handcrafted longbows, and no one bow is exactly alike in draw weight or wood grain. Poundage will fall in BETWEEN 5 LB.

 

    For over 15 years, Striker Bows have been building custom bows but for the first time they introduced a standard line of one piece longbows. These bows are ready-to-order; you just pick your draw weight  and color!

 

    The Striker SPORT COLOR was designed with the hunter in mind. Darker wood and a shorter length at 58" were implemented for ease in the woods.

 

    The look and feel of the Sport and Classic was developed with the characteristics of our popular one piece bow, The Stinger. Our reflex-deflex longbow design ensures a quality build along with added performance from existing classic longbow designs. Our short 16" riser height makes room for longer working limbs while still keeping the bow at 58". This design limits handshock and stacking that is common in some traditional longbows. The forward handle design includes a thumb rest for a comfortable fit and improved accuracy.

The Striker Sport TDR, a takedown recurve set at a 60″ length, incorporates the trend of Striker’s short riser design, allowing long working recurve limbs to give the shooter a smooth draw, making it a quiet shooting, high performing bow. Charcoal action wood is used for the riser section as well as the limb veneers for a sleek modern look. The Sport TDR incorporates an interchangeable limb system making it possible to change out different Striker limbs without the need for custom fitting.

 

    or the first time, Striker Bows is offering a takedown recurve bow model with the option of interchangeable limbs. This option gives the ability to universally change out limbs on any takedown model without the need for custom fitting the limbs to the riser. This step helps bridge the gap between a custom fitted takedown model and a ready-to-go takedown model.

 

    The exact bow poundage is listed on every bow we make, and will fall within the poundage range you select, at a draw length of 28″.

RK1 Takedown Bow, 60" long

The RK1 Takedown Bow features a fully machined aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum riser in a torqueless style grip typically available on modern compound bows. This feature allows for an easier transition for the compound archer to move into traditional archery equipment, and now allows the traditional archer to experience the nail driving accuracy of a torque free grip. The 16″ riser height allows for enough sight window to shoot instinctively or attach a sight. The height is also short enough to give plenty of working limb at a 60” bow length resulting in a smoother shooting bow. Also featured is the flexibility to shoot directly off the shelf or with an elevated rest. This allows for transition between the woods to the 3D course without changing entire bow setups.

    The Striker Classic is a versatile, reflex-deflex style, one-piece longbow designed with any style of shooter in mind. Natural Bocote wood is used for the riser and limb veneers with black and yellow striping added for a natural, yet striking, look. An overall length of 60″ covers the bases on anything from target practice to deep cover hunting.
